MOULD MAKERS
Role Description
Five Star Tool and Die Ltd. is seeking a skilled full-time Mould Maker, with a minimum of 3 years experience, for an on-site role located in Wallaceburg, ON. The Mould Maker will be responsible for manufacturing, maintaining, and repairing dies, fixtures, and gauges according to specifications using various types of machines, tools, and equipment. In part, the role will involve interpreting engineering drawings and working with a variety of materials, measurements and specifications to deliver high-quality products on time.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate needs to possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tool and die manufacturing
- Able to operate and maintain a variety of machines, including lathes and grinders
- Able to interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and sketches
- Experience using measuring and testing devices to ensure accuracy
- Ability to work independently or in a team with good communication skills
- Able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with a plan in place to solve them
- Attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work
